we did go to the Coolidge park, and walked along the river, take some pictures of the bridges, flowers there, etc. It's a leisure walk Full review by ELKW
We did see several people being walked by their dogs. The city seems to be quite dog friendly. We really like the Hair of the dog Pub, if you need a cold one with your pooch, they have a patio.
